we went to feed the cows

there's one horse that hangs with them so when they need to find all the cows they can ride it around the pasture

i went with Yadira and her family to their farm

the farm itself is about an hour hike up the mountain in mud, but their property goes much further up, they have 25 hectares of pure jungle

Olimpia is a pro at milking the cows..i tried as well but it is a lot harder than you would expect. i got some milk out but it was kind of pathetic

Don bolivar brought the phone from the store to try and call his son.

the whole journey was about 7 hours, in which we milked cows and wandered through the jungle (summit) looking for phone signal without success

it was beautiful though

on mothers day they had a big party, the men got drunk and the women cooked (?)
